Pianist Maria Kiki performs in a wide variety of settings, including as soloist, collaborative pianist and chamber musician. As a soloist, Maria has performed with the State Symphony Orchestra of the Udmurt Republic (Russia) and Municipal Symphonic Orchestra of Joao Pessoa (Brazil). A sought-after collaborative pianist, Maria has performed with numerous renowned musicians, including Vėronique Mathieu (violin), Laura Veeze (violin), Guillaume Tardif (violin), Felipe Avellar de Aquino (cello), Rafael Hoekman (cello), Maria Ioudenitch (violin), Paul Chou (violin), Catherine Daniels (mezzo-soprano) and Miriam Khalil (soprano). Kiki has held recitals for many art organizations, such as Prairie Debut, Health Arts Society of Alberta, Shean Piano and Strings Competition, and Edmonton Opera. An avid chamber musician, Maria has partnered with the Enterprize Quartet, University of Alberta Madrigal Singers, and others. Maria holds a Doctor of Music degree and enjoys teaching at the University of Alberta.
