HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Northern Jubliee Auditorium
December 11, 2023

Edmonton Opera's 'Home for the Holidays' graced the Jubilee Auditorium once again, now celebrating its third year of enchanting audiences. This beloved family-friendly concert promised an evening brimming with joyous sing-alongs and the heartwarming tale of Amahl and the Night Visitors.

The story of Amahl, a boy with a penchant for tall tales unfolded beautifully. It's a narrative steeped in compassion, healing, and the miraculous arrival of three splendidly dressed kings on a quest to visit a wondrous child. Complementing this touching story were carols performed by the Edmonton Opera Chorus, adding an extra layer of holiday spirit to our event.

We were thrilled to have so many opera kids in the audience, adding their unique energy to the evening. Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who joined in and sang carols with us. Your presence made this night truly special, blending the magic of the season, music, community, and a heartwarming story into a memorable experience.
