PLAN YOUR VISIT

A night out at the opera is an experience to remember. Make the most of it by following these tips!

What to wear: Whatever you feel comfortable in! We have no official dress code. Generally, weekend audiences tend to dress up, while audiences on other nights come dressed in a variety of evening wear and casual clothing. Going to the opera is a great opportunity to show off your personal style!

Getting there: Triffo Theatre is conveniently located downtown at MacEwan University. It is accessible by LRT, followed by a 20 minute walk west from the MacEwan station. Additionally, there are many bus stops along 104 street close to the theatre.

Parking: Parking is available at the Allard Hall Underground Parkade for $10. Please arrive 45 minutes before the performance to avoid traffic delays in the parkade!

Before the performance: Arrive at least 45 minutes before the show begins. This gives you enough time to park, check your coat, and grab a drink before heading into the theatre.

Latecomers: Latecomers will not be permitted to enter the theatre until intermission. You are invited to watch a live feed of the performance on an HD screen in the main floor lobby.

Photo booth: Strike a pose! At every performance, we offer a complimentary photo booth in the main lobby. This is a great way to flaunt your style or remember a fun night out with friends!

Phones and photography: Please keep your phone switched off or on silent during the performance. Photography and audio/video recording of the performance are strictly prohibited.

Intermission: We ask that you stay seated throughout the performance. Ayre will be broken into two parts: Journey and Ayre, with a 20-minute intermission between.
