Soprano Laquita Mitchell performs the iconic title role of Violetta, a famous Parisian courtesan who is consumed both by love and a life-threatening illness. In a historic first, our new production is co-commissioned by five of Canada’s leading opera companies, bringing a level of spectacle and artistry that will match the grandeur of Verdi’s music.
